Frequently Asked Questions

What information is required to select a cooling fan?
Please provide the available installation space, required voltage, target airflow or static pressure, noise limit, operating temperature, expected service life, control signal requirements and equipment application. If airflow data is unavailable, Procool can review the application conditions with your engineering team.
Can Procool customize an existing fan model?
Customization may include speed, airflow, voltage, wire length, connector, bearing, signal output, protection function and selected structural details. The available options depend on the fan series and project requirements.
What is the difference between an axial fan and a blower?
An axial fan moves air in a direction parallel to the fan shaft and is commonly selected for general equipment ventilation. A blower directs airflow through an outlet and is typically used where focused airflow or higher static pressure is required.
Can you provide PWM, FG or RD functions?
PWM speed control, FG speed feedback, RD alarm output and other control functions are available on selected models. The required signal logic and electrical specifications should be confirmed during project evaluation.
Do you support OEM and ODM projects?
